Bio

David DeFigueredo

I work mainly in mixed media lately and

Some photoshop. My current method of working madness includes pen and ink wash, Acrylics, watercolors, colored pencils, lighter fluid, airbrush paint, white out pens, Sharpes, brush pens, and pencils on watercolor paper and mixed media art boards.


My work is a dark trip in to a surrealist lowbrow world of Eros and Thanatos,

occult themes and monster movies maniacs, Lovecraftian nightmare scenes of horror with a heavy German Expressionism influence.


My work has been Featured in:

Sabath illustrated ( Black Sabbath Illustrated book with lyrics)

Board line (french magazine)

Abnormal ( German art book)




My Current and past influences include H.R Giger, Zdzislaw Beksinski, Dave McKean, Chet Zar, F.W Murnau, Fritz Lang, William Mortensen, Bill  Sienkiewicz, Joel Peter Witkin.


Due to the current pandemic I have no upcoming gallery shows but, in 2018 my painting "Gates of Yog-Sothoth"was featured and sold at the Necronomicon, which is a conference and festival of art, weird fiction, and academia all inspired by HP Lovecraft's work.
